Depending on the requirements of the Client, we can sample properties anywhere between a 5% – 100% test rate to gain an understanding of the network over large areas. For example, to get a basic understanding of a town, a 10% sample will help identify roads or estates that are likely to contribute rainwater towards the foul network flows. On the other hand, we can do a comprehensive area within a street or estate to test every property, hard standing area and road gully to locate all cross connections within that area.
The results are reported using colour coded maps which give an immediate visual representation of where rainwater enters the network, and allows further investigations to be commenced in specific areas, if required.
